It’s been a while since I’ve posted and all I can say is life happened.  I know, that’s not really a reason but……….today, I feel sooooo reminiscent.  I was looking out the window at work and the sky was gray and cloudy.  Rain drops continued falling and the wind felt chilly.  Inside, the office was just as cold and all I wanted was to snuggle in a blanket and have a hot cup of tea.

Normally in Texas, October is a scorching month and we’d probably still be in the 90’s followed by one week of autumn weather and then straight into winter.  We don’t have those beautiful colorful autumn seasons down here.  It usually goes from green to brown in a week, no joke.

I’ve never really seen one of those amazing autumn displays so one of my biggest dreams is to head up north in the autumn and just spend a season memorizing the scenery.  I can just imagine the colors…. bright, golden, crimson, orange and yellow hues.  In fact, I will make sure I make that happen.  I’ll have to plan a vacation sometime, maybe spend a week or so out in a lodge, lost in the middle of nowhere.  Just trees and a book.   Maybe some candles and a hot warm bubble bath too.  What a life………
