The struggle is real…..

Being a Christian in a worldly – world, if that makes sense, is hard.  I am expected to be perfect, to not only talk the talk but walk the walk day in and day out.  But what many don’t understand is that believing in Jesus and being saved in Jesus does not mean we as humans are perfect.

What it truly means is that we are sinners who believe in a risen God, Jesus.  One that died for our sins and iniquities, that died and rose again because he loved us unconditionally.  He took our place and intercedes before the father so that through his holy sacrifice, we would be saved.

I basque in that love, knowing that the christian life is a journey of ups and downs, failures and successes but through it all, he is there.  He is the perfecter of all things and I will gladly follow him through this journey called life.

This blog was born so I could share the good, the bad and the ugly and how I cope through it all with God by my side……It will host my life, my hobbies, my happiness, my joys and my sorrows.  I hope that at the very least, I can be a beacon of hope in the midst of darkness.
